Born in Milan on 26.10.1956, he obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery and a Diploma in Urology in the Milanese Faculty. 

ASSISTANCE ACTIVITY 
From the year 1993 to the year 2001, he served at the Urological Clinic I of the Ospedale Maggiore of Milan, IRCCS, as full-time Assistant, and later as 1st level Medical Director. In these years, Dr. Colombo has developed his own urological surgical procedure and has been entrusted with the responsibility of the simple structure of Andrology of the Institute of Urology. 
From September to November 1997, he attended the Center for Infertility and Andrological Microsurgery of the Tenon and St. Louis hospitals, directed by Prof. G. Tritto. 
A field of particular interest is that of surgical Andrology and reconstructive surgery of male genitalia. The repeated collaborations with the major international centers have allowed a further improvement in microsurgical techniques, such as to be invited as a teacher during courses of andrological microsurgery in the context of national conferences and specific symposia. 
Since 2001, he has moved to the Urological Clinic of the S. Giuseppe Hospital in Milan, with the functions of Help and of the Head of the Andrology Service within the Urology Operative Unit.
From 1 April 2009, he is Director of the Departmental Andrology Structure of the S. Orsola Hospital Hospital in Bologna.
